Last week news
Polaris Dawn Mission: On September 10, 2024, SpaceX launched the Polaris Dawn mission, a privately funded spaceflight led by billionaire Jared Isaacman.
It included the first-ever commercial spacewalk, carried out on September 12. The mission's Crew Dragon capsule reached an altitude higher than any human has flown since the Apollo missions, and its spacewalk aimed to test SpaceXโs new EVA (extravehicular activity) suit.
The mission concluded with a successful splashdown on September 15, 2024.
SpaceX Satellite Launches: SpaceX also launched several satellites, including a batch of Starlink satellites on September 12, and European Commission's Galileo satellites on September 17. These launches continue to support global communications and navigation.
Upcoming events

Mobile wallpaperTodayโs wallpaper is from someone unknown (at least I was unable to find the author). It captured the beautiful nebula NGC3576, more commonly known as the Statue of Liberty Nebula, as it resembles The Statue of Liberty from NYC. This nebula is located 9000 light-years away from Earth, and it measures over 100 light-years across. | NGC3576 The Statue of Liberty Nebula |
